Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef looking for an exciting opportunity in an upmarket, high-end restaurant. They are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the kitchen operations in one of their illustrious restaurants and deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows from start to finish.
Take full responsibility for stock management, including ordering, inventory control, and minimizing waste.
Plan and prepare high-quality, creative meals that align with the restaurant’s standards and vision.
Implement and maintain robust controls for quality, cost, and compliance with company policies.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff to foster a high-performing and cohesive team.
Maintain detailed and accurate records related to kitchen operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items, showcasing creativity and innovation.

Culinary Qualification

Skills

Proven track record as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role in a high-end or fine-dining establishment.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and food safety standards.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle long hours, and adapt to a fast-paced environment, including weekends and late hours.
Creative, energetic, and passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and seasonal menu changes.
