A reputable fintech company based in Johannesburg is looking for a skilled, experienced and vibrant candidate to join their company as a Web Developer/Graphic Designer/ Video Editor.

Job Description:

The Web Developer / Graphic Designer / Video Editor is a versatile role responsible for creating visually compelling digital assets, developing and maintaining websites, and producing engaging video content tailored for the South African market. This role demands a deep understanding of UI/UX design, front-end development, and multimedia production to enhance the brand’s digital presence in a competitive local landscape.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Web Development:

Design, develop, and maintain websites and landing pages using:

WordPress, Webflow, or custom-coded solutions
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (preferred)

Implement responsive design best practices to ensure mobile-friendly experiences.
Optimize site speed, performance, and security with a focus on South African hosting solutions.
Manage local hosting providers, domain configurations, and website updates.
Drive marketing integrations such as Google and Meta tags, event tracking, and analytics setup.

Graphic Design:

Create visually appealing marketing collateral tailored to the South African market, including banners, infographics, and social media creatives.
Develop UI/UX wireframes and prototypes for website and app projects.
Ensure consistency in brand identity across all digital assets.
Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma for design work.

Video Editing:

Produce, edit, and optimize video content for social media, YouTube, and website use with a focus on South African audiences.
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro for professional video editing.
Implement motion graphics, sound design, and color correction to enhance video quality.
Edit short-form and long-form videos, ensuring high engagement and viewer retention.

Position based in Four Ways, Johannesburg
Full-time position in office
