Web Designer (Entry Level/Junior)

POSITION INFO:

Contract Duration: Mar 2025 – December 2027

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML & CSS.
• Ability to perform standard-compliant cross-browser coding and compatibility testing.
• Experience with Photoshop and Figma.
• Familiarity with web application development and application/code testing.
• Experience with MS Office Products.
• Capability to integrate company Corporate Identity (CI) into various platforms and designs.
• Experience with a CMS (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of UX/UI principles, JavaScript, and SEO is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• A knack for understanding and interpreting business needs and translating them into actionable designs.
• Flexibility to take on various tasks and strong work ethics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Group South Africa websites.
• Design and test HTML mailer campaigns.
• Conduct UX/UI research, analysis, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and feedback.
• Occasionally conduct application testing and code reviews.
