Water Engineer

SUMMARY:
A position for a Water Engineer to join the team of innovative consulting engineers to work on exciting flood resilience projects in Africa. 

We are looking for someone who has experience in hydrology and hydraulic modelling.  You will integral to building, running and checking hydraulic models and developing high value solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• BSc / BEng degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences.
• Professional Registration with either ECSA or SACNASP (or willing to pursue professional registration)
• Technical experience in hydraulic modelling, in particular fluvial risk management.
• Hydrology background including impacts of climate change.
• Stormwater drainage network modelling and design skills
• Experience in the flooding sector
• Experience in HEC-RAS, PCSWMM or similar software
• Experience in Flood Modeler Pro, Tuflow (advantageous)
• Experience in GIS
