SUMMARY:
Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

The client is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Engineer to join their Cape Town office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conduct process assessments.
Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.
Providing Green Drop assistance.
Traveling on short notice and work on-site as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a BSc / BEng / B Tech in Civil Engineering.
Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer / Technologist (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng).
Valid driver’s licence.

Experience:

10 to15 years of post-graduation experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments, and contract administration.

Skills:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in the field.
Strong communication skills.

Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office (advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Projects).
