Warehouse Manager

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment. You will also oversee, train, and evaluate staff (you will be responsible for a 15-member team) and ensure the maintenance of company assets. To start in early 2025.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Set up the layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
• Manage stock control.
• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensure the safety of staff.
• Motivate and discipline staff.
• Maintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
• Valid driver's license.
• The ability to operate a forklift effectively is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills. MS Word and Excel
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Available to work extended hours.
