My client is looking for a visionary VP of Software Engineering to join a skilled team transforming the retail landscape. As part of the mission, you’ll steer cutting-edge software and hardware solutions, connecting customers to an evolved shopping experience. Together, you’ll redefine what it means to shop in person—bringing convenience, personalization, and delight to physical storefronts.
POSITION INFO:
Building scalable, innovative solutions that tackle complex challenges
Strategizing with product managers and stakeholders to chart the development roadmap
Empowering engineering teams with mentorship, tools, and processes to thrive
Setting Agile standards, debugging with precision, and staying hands-on with development
Aligning internal and external teams with clear communication and impactful strategies
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of Agile software development experience, with a proven track record of delivery
Expertise in modern enterprise technologies and system architecture
Mastery in managing global teams across time zones and driving performance
Advanced knowledge of SDLC, design patterns, and scalable system development
Bonus Points for:
Experience with embedded systems, edge computing, and cloud platforms
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and consumer/retail technologies
Stakeholder engagement at an executive level
