POSITION INFO:
A reputable dealership in Johannesburg is seeking a skilled Vehicle Auto Electrician Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles, including lighting, wiring, ignition, instruments, and warning systems.
- Install and repair electrical wiring and components.
- Remove and replace redundant components in vehicles.
- Overhaul auto electrical systems, starters, and alternators.
- Complete and process job reports and other paperwork.
Requirements:
- Auto Electrical Trade Test from an accredited trade test center.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 3-4 years’ relevant work experience in vehicle auto electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and safety awareness.
