Job Description

You will be responsible for the following:

Supervise and coordinate electrical teams in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
Oversee and support electrical contractors and teams on allocated projects.
Responsible for electrical inspections and proving solutions to fault list findings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Assist and guide planning for electrical work and materials.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety regulations.
Train and mentor electrical workers.
Maintain project documentation and reports.
Design electrical solutions and panels suited to for the water and wastewater treatment plants.
Ensure electrical safety and enforce lockout procedures.
Collaborate with different trade teams on site and work closely together to achieve the required results.
Cost electrical projects for sales related tenders.

Qualifications

Electrical Engineering Diploma or similar Electrical technical qualification
Wiremans License – knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
Electrician Trade Certificate

Skills

Water/Wastewater treatment plant experience
Proficiency in MS office software
Driver’s License – Code 08 (NOT code 10)

Benefits

Standby (7days on and 7 days off) with standby allowance.
Min 5 years’ experience
