A leading organisation is seeking a Utilities and Site Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of essential utility systems and building services.

POSITION INFO:

A leading organisation is seeking a Utilities and Site Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of essential utility systems and building services. This role is key in ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and efficiency of critical infrastructure while managing service contracts, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of utilities, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, compressed air, purified water, and wastewater treatment.
Develop and implement maintenance programmes to ensure maximum uptime of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians, conducting performance management and upskilling initiatives.
Manage third-party contractors for security, cleaning, waste disposal, and site services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices
Develop operating procedures, maintenance plans, and service-level agreements to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in Facilities Management within a regulated industry
Strong knowledge of site utilities, service contract management, and security operations
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience in budgeting, cost management, and strategic planning
Knowledge of the Health and Safety Act and Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) is advantageous
