POSITION INFO:

About the Role: As a Commercial Underwriter, you will:

Underwrite a range of products including personal lines, commercial lines, engineering, liability, and transport.
Leverage your technical risk knowledge to maintain high service standards.
Provide exceptional client service with a proactive approach.
Manage claims effectively while building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and service providers.
Exhibit strong administration and time management skills.

What We’re Looking For:

Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
Solid experience in short-term insurance underwriting.
Proven claims experience.
Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

Matric certificate.
NQF Level 4 (Full qualification) or higher.
RE5 certification.
