A leading mining company is seeking a skilled Trade Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role requires a finance professional with experience in commodity trading, who can manage trade finance transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure financial compliance in a fast-paced environment. Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a trade accounting role
Experience within the mining or commodity trading industry is highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of trade finance, hedging, and foreign exchange transactions
Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, and risk management
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications:

BCom in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification
CIMA / CA(SA) / CFA will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage trade accounting activities including reconciliations and reporting
Monitor and process commodity trading transactions
Manage hedging, forex transactions, and financial risk management
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Collaborate with traders, finance teams, and external stakeholders
