It is important to note that this is an entry level administrative position with the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic industry and a leading travel company.
KEY OUTPUTS:
- Reconfirmation of consultant files with suppliers by sending reconfirmations and vouchers and ensuring what has been confirmed to the agent with the final itinerary, matches the confirmation sent to suppliers and matches what has been booked in Tourplan
- Checking Tourplan against GIS and flight details, checking the number of guests booked in the system is correct and matches what has been booked with suppliers, Pick up and drop off details, checking allocations and all services booked correctly
- Checking and saving lodge Daysheets for the consultants and ensuring the information received by the &Beyond Lodges is correct
- Create, assemble and print documentation for the travel wallet
- Plan daily logistics regarding delivery of Travel Wallet to our operational bases
- Clear communication with Consultants and Managers when requesting required documentation for the Travel Wallet and details to reconfirm bookings
- Constant, consistent and clear communication daily with reservations team and suppliers
- Upholding the values of &Beyond ... Care of the people, Care of land and Care of the wildlife
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Computer literate with at least a basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel – this includes typing skills
- Some understanding of a reservation’s environment is advantageous
- Computer literate with at least a basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Tourplan advantageous or any other reservations system
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Tourism/Travel-Related Qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) would be an advantage.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Word and Outlook
- Experience in Tourplan would be advantageous
