My client is a global leader in soil improvers, plant and animal nutrition, pioneering effective and sustainable agricultural practices, and is looking for a Regional Manager for the Free State and North West Province .
As a Regional Manager, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of agriculture, while enjoying a stimulating and rewarding environment
You will oversee the profitability of your region and act as a coach and manage the team for this region and take responsibility for the region's performance against targets.
You will partner with distributors within your territory, guiding your team to ensure the successful implementation of the company's commercial strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Profit and Loss Management: in your territory by ensuring proper potential analysis and segmentation, defining the local development Plan and steering the activities to reach annual targets. Evaluating market trends and gathering competitive information, identifying trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability
- Sales team Leadership: to lead and monitor the sales team in your territory. This will include recruiting, integrating, developing and motivating a team of 10, to maximise sales and provide quality mentorship to promote high performance
- Distributor partnership development: lead and develop sustainable partnerships with agricultural distributors that are aligned to the company's commercial policy
- Strategic Reporting: Collect, analyse and communicate performance data, to assess regional effectiveness and guide strategic decision-making.
