POSITION INFO:

The SW Tester / Test Automation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications and systems. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and resolving software defects, and collaborating with the development team to improve the overall quality and configuration of the software products.

Test Plan Development and Execution:
Develop and execute detailed test plans and scripts to thoroughly evaluate the functionality and performance of software applications and systems.
Ensure software meets technical and functional requirements.
Defect Identification and Resolution:
Detect and document problems within software applications. Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
Quality Improvement Recommendations:
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for quality improvements. Suggest enhancements to optimize performance and reliability.
Workflow Documentation and Analysis:
Document testing process, workflows, and results. Utilize information for process improvement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Engage with the development team to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and support.

Soft Skills:
Ability to work interdependently and deliver high-quality results on time. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Work ethics and flexibility. Capability to coach and provide training. Willingness to travel if required.
