SUMMARY:
Are you a skilled Technology Development Chemist with a passion for innovation in polymers and materials science? Our client, a leading company in manufacturing, is looking for a highly motivated Chemist to join their dynamic R&D team.

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will be responsible for researching and developing new polymer-based products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring products meet performance and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to support the scale-up of new technologies. Your day-to-day tasks will involve formulating, testing, and analysing materials, interpreting experimental data, and staying up to date with industry trends to drive innovation.

Education:

• Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Experience in polymer development, coatings, adhesives, or related materials is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in laboratory testing and characterization techniques
• Conduct research and development on new and existing polymer-based products
• Formulate and test innovative materials to enhance product performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance
• Analyze and interpret data to drive continuous improvement
• Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to patent applications where applicable
