SUMMARY:

Technician - Edenvale, Johannesburg

Are you a skilled TECHNICIAN with experience in injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, or printing?

Seeking a proactive individual for hands-on maintenance and repair duties.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of production machines.
Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
Support the setup, calibration, and operation of machinery.
Maintain clear records of repairs, faults, and completed maintenance.
Work collaboratively with machine operators and production supervisors to resolve technical issues.
Comply with all company safety procedures.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery if needed.

Requirements:

Matric
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Experience in injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, or printing industries.
Proven track record in fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on technical ability.
Valid passport, must be willing to travel as and when needed
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
