Technical Sales Specialist/Sales Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Solid business has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative to work in GAuteng, travelling to the SADC/SASS regions for 2 weeks of the month.

Customer base is in Mining, Construction

Responsibilities and Duties

6. Prepare and manage sales contracts in terms of finding distributors in new territories.

Desired Experience

• Sales and Export Experience
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the industrial, mining or engineering products or services sectors.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export sales or international business development.
• Experience in managing international client relationships and sales processes.
• Industry Knowledge
• Familiarity with industrial coatings, adhesives, or related products.
• Understanding of the target markets and industries, such as mining, construction or manufacturing.
• Market Analysis
• Experience in conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
• Experience in preparing and managing sales contracts, including compliance with international trade regulations.
• Understanding of export documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures.

Desired Qualifications

• Matric
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in international trade, export management, or related areas are a plus.
• Language Skills
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
• Fluency in additional languages relevant to target markets can be a significant advantage

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools; Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
