Role: Technical Sales Specialist

Overview:

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in managing internal sales, developing relationships with customers and distributors, and ensuring the seamless processing of sales activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and process product/system quotes using SAGE.
• Develop complex technical proposals and manage tender submissions.
• Provide support to the external sales team, ensuring accurate and timely order processing (purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes).
• Maintain and update customer and sales data within the CRM system.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall sales team performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, advising on solutions and cross-selling additional products.
• Keep customers updated on order status and liaise with other internal departments for smooth delivery.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and events when needed.

POSITION INFO:
Skills & Qualifications:

• A technical tertiary qualification (mandatory).
• Relevant experience in the Petrochemical and Fuel Management industries.
• Strong proficiency in SAGE financial system and familiarity with 3rd party tender platforms (e.g., Ariba).
• Proven experience in internal technical sales, proposal costing, and contract management.
• A solution-oriented approach to sales and customer service.
• Familiarity with international trade and Incoterms.
• Knowledge of export sales processes and market intelligence.
