SUMMARY:

A multinational food hygiene company providing cleaning services and hygiene chemicals to food processing plants and abattoirs, requires the above to be responsible for expanding the product range in the Northern region, building relationships with dairy farmers, providing technical support, and ensuring timely product delivery and customer training.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have Grade 12
A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or related will be an added advantage
Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in the dairy/poultry/porcine industry is essential
Must have knowledge of dairy farming practices and animal health management
Experience working with dairy farm management systems such as Afimilk or Waikato is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Northern region when required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategies to expand the dairy, poultry, and piggery product range in the Northern region.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with dairy farmers, providing technical advice and support.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Providing sales support and training to customers on product usage and benefits.
Staying updated on industry trends and developments related to dairy, poultry and pig farming biosecurity.
