SUMMARY:

A well-established global leader in the production and supply of nutritional solutions for the animal feed industry is seeking the above for promoting products and services across South Africa and neighbouring countries, working closely with the Area Sales Manager to deliver tailored solutions for key customers, while supporting local partners (distributors and/or agents) to drive promotion and sales growth.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a B.Sc. Agric or B.V.Sc, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in agriculture, animal nutrition, or veterinary science
Minimum 5’ years successful experience in selling animal nutrition or health products/services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills is essential
Must be a business acumen with analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively across South Africa when required
Fluency in English is essential

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Promoting and selling the company’s products and services range with technical expertise.
Building relationships with customers, prospects, and influencers to drive growth.
Collaborating with the Area Sales Manager to define market priorities and sales strategies.
Developing and executing roadmaps for new product launches and business development.
Providing training, advice, and support to distributors and customers.
Organizing events and technical demonstrations to showcase product benefits.
Keeping abreast of market trends and identifying new opportunities to enhance market presence.
