POSITION INFO:

My client, a leading property company is seeking a Technical Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you will ensure the integrity of financial reporting in line with IFRS and other relevant standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys navigating technical accounting challenges within the property sector.

Duties:

Provide guidance on IFRS and accounting standards
Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements
Support internal and external audits
Financial reporting
Consolidations

Education and experience:

CA(SA)
3+ years of post-articles experience, ideally in a technical accounting role
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with Draftworx
