SUMMARY:
Our client, an energy and lighting expert, is looking for an experienced Technical Lighting Salesperson to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical sales in the energy efficiency lighting projects space and assisting management with various tasks.
Work with large corporate entities so experience in a formal business sector will be advantageous.
The role is based in Johannesburg, but the sites are national. Given the nature of the work, significant travel may be required along with after-hours site visits. This will include driving to various sites so own transport is vital.
Strong technical lighting knowledge, Excel and Google Sheets and project management skills will be beneficial. The ability to learn about new lighting technologies will be required.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of lighting projects from site inspections and audits through project approval to client sign off. You will also be required to oversee the project management function for your projects.
There will be an element of managing online and quoting data related to company projects.

Site audits at sites such as logistics facilities, shopping centers, office blocks etc

Contractor Management (safety, neatness, work)
Quality Control
Project Reporting
Cost tracking
Project Close Out
Management Support
Project and quoting data management

Qualifications:

Relevant qualification or Industry experience will be required.
