SUMMARY:
The client is looking for a Technical Field Specialist to provide on-site support, technical assessments, and dealer training to enhance vehicle service quality and resolution speed. The role will be based in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a "flying doctor" for on-site technical assessments and escalated vehicle repairs.
Travel at short notice to address complex vehicle issues at local dealers and Sub-Saharan Importers.
Conduct root-cause analysis of vehicle problems and contribute to dealer training content.
Ensure optimal diagnosis methods and repair quality standards within the Dealer Network.
Perform 3-4 day compliance audits at dealers, monitoring adherence to Group Aftersales processes.
Collaborate with Dealer Management to implement corrective actions for underperforming dealers.
Address training needs for dealer workshop staff to enhance technical capabilities.
Manage escalated customer concerns and ensure compliance with single incident reporting.
Develop and coach dealer personnel on Technical Core Process compliance.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years in a motor industry technical services environment, with 2+ years handling automotive product support and customer service.
Degree or National Diploma in Engineering, or Diploma/Degree in Operations Management with a Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate and Master Technician Certificate.

Key Skills:

Expertise in product knowledge, after-sales systems, diagnostics, and warranty processes.
Familiarity with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and dealer workshop processes.
Strong problem-solving, customer service, and strategy formulation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Group systems.
