SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Technical Draughtsperson with a strong background in SolidWorks, Inventor, and sheet metal fabrication? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company that specializes in precision engineering and bespoke fabrication solutions.

POSITION INFO:
As a Technical Draughtsperson, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-quality manufacturing components. You’ll be responsible for producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, working closely with engineers, production teams, and clients to ensure accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify detailed CAD drawings using SolidWorks and Inventor.
Develop and interpret engineering drawings for sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in fabrication and engineering.
Assist in the development of bill of materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance product design and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Draughtsperson, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and Inventor for 2D/3D CAD modelling.
Expertise in sheet metal fabrication and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to design challenges.
