SUMMARY:
Join a leading organisation in the aviation industry, known for its innovation and excellence in manufacturing high-quality aerospace components. My client is seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Buyer to play a crucial role in their procurement team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Identify procurement demands and execute the purchase of goods and services to meet operational needs.
Process and manage purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
Oversee SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) management to ensure optimal stock levels.
Engage with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules.
Analyze and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure procurement accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

National Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buying role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace sector.
Proficient in using procurement software and tools, with strong computer literacy.
Familiarity with BOMs and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
