Tax Consultant
Our client, a tax-exclusive services firm located in Centurion is seeking a hard-working, eager-to-learn individual with at least 1 year of experience who wants to forge a solid tax career and develop into a well-rounded tax professional.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

BCom Honours in Taxation.
1 year of experience in Taxation within a reputable audit, accounting, or law firm.
Proficiency in performing complex tax calculations.
Essential: Microsoft Office.
Advantageous: Proficiency with Adobe PDF and SARS E-filing.

Roles and Responsibilities

Preparation and submission of Advance Tax Ruling applications.
Conducting various tax calculations (excluding tax return preparation or submission for companies and individuals, focusing instead on calculations required for VDP applications, tax opinions, or disputes).
Interpretation and analysis of tax legislation.
Preparation and submission of objections, appeals, and other tax dispute-related documentation.
Development of detailed tax opinions.
Preparation and submission of Voluntary Disclosure Programme (VDP) applications.
Conducting comprehensive tax research.
Representing clients in interactions with Revenue Authorities, including filing objections, appeals, and requests for remissions.
Providing tailored tax advice for both local and international clients.
Conducting merit reviews for tax disputes.
Preparing submissions for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes.
Assisting with the preparation of tax opinions.
Preparation and submission of various tax returns, including Income Tax, IT14SDs, Dividends Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
