POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a set portfolio of clients
Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals, and tax-exempt institutions
Handle provisional tax submissions and calculations
Manage tax audits and liaise with SARS on related matters
Complete DTR01 and DTR02 forms accurately
Submit objections and appeals, ensuring thorough prep work is done prior to submission
Respond to tax-related queries from clients and SARS
Oversee Customs onboarding on the RLA system
Facilitate VAT and PAYE applications
Handle Tax Clearance Applications for good standing and foreign investment

Requirements:

BCom Degree (essential)
Postgraduate Degree in Taxation (advantageous)
3-5 years of relevant tax experience
Proficiency in Greatsoft or similar tax systems
Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality
Able to work well under pressure with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Able to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously
Ambitious and driven with a focus on continuous improvement
Own vehicle
