SUMMARY:
A dynamic, multi-divisional services firm is seeking an International Tax Specialist to spearhead transformation and expansion within the group. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact and play a key role in high-level decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
As a global frontrunner in cross-border tax and compliance services, this organization operates across major continents. The role involves overseeing multiple entities, ranging from small to large, each with its own finance team, from a centralized office in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Success in this position requires adaptability to a fast-evolving environment.

Duties:

Tax consulting and compliance
VAT returns and calculations for African entities
Ad hoc travel into Africa and the Middle East
Stakeholder engagement and management across Africa and the Middle East
Tax opinion writing and advisory

Qualifications and Experience Required:

BCom: Accounting or LLB qualification is preferred
Post-graduate Degree in taxation is essential
10+ years’ experience in taxation is essential
8 to 10+ years’ experience in the audit, consulting space
Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred
