TMO 14750 - PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Our client based in Pretoria has an opportunity for an energetic individual to join their team in the capacity of a Procurement Officer . The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Negotiate prices for materials in accordance to demand seasonality
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation
• Assist Procurement Manager with planning and procurement of raw materials (Import & local), as guided by procurement policy and procedure
• Supplier performance management
• Develop and implement an effective supplier base and partnerships to create a reliable and long-term source of supply
• General Admin Duties, such as regular follow ups, update price schedules, approved supplier list.
• Any other related Duties
