TLB Operator (Stilbaai)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking the skills of a TLB Operator for our site in Stilbaai.

REQUIREMENT:

• A valid grade 12 certificate
• Proficiency in English
• Valid TLB operators’ certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with traceable references
• Prepared to work at odd and long hours.

• Operating a backhoe to dig trenches, move dirt, or break up asphalt using a pneumatic drill
• Inspecting safety devices, controls, lubricant levels etc on vehicles/heavy plant and report defects to immediate superior.
• Completing daily inspection sheet and greasing machinery
• Inspecting the site to determine any safety hazards
• Operating industrial machinery such as front-end loaders, forklifts, cranes, bulldozers, or backhoes
• Inspecting work sites for damage to existing structures or equipment
• Removing debris such as rocks, tree stumps, and other materials from sites
• Maintaining accurate records of all activities performed including hours worked and materials used
• Skill full operating and maneuvering of backhoes to dig ditches, trenches, holes and levelling for new sites
• Observing and/or participating in loading/offloading sequences of material and equipment and correcting deviations from safety procedures.
