TECHNICAL SECURITY OPERATIONAL MANAGER

SUMMARY:
To render a comprehensive integrated technical security solution for a large high-risk organisation.

POSITION INFO:

TECHNICAL ELECTRONIC SECURITY INTEGRATED SYSTEMS OPERATIONS MANAGER

PRETORIA

Position designated to applicants ito the EE Act

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To render a comprehensive integrated technical security solution for a large high-risk organisation.

Duties:

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and all internal and external technical security queries

Ensure client satisfaction and retention

Sustain growth and sustainability whilst keeping up to date with the latest technology and proactive recommendations

Increase the performance of all staff including contractors and subcontractors

Personnel management

Ensuring training is regular and on time as required

Planning and management

Financial management

Conducting dynamic and proactive security solutions and risk assessments

Maintaining excellent relationships with al staff on site, including client staff, own team, contractors and suppliers

Provide reports and recommendations

Be the leader and focal point for technology daily routines and emergency situations

Strictly adhere to laws and regulations applicable to the site, legislation, industry bodies and company SOP’s

Alignment and allocations of all resources at any given time and to be documented live in charts and spreadsheets

Strong and proven history in a similar position with exceptional security technologies experience. Minimum 5 years of experience required

As per standard security management, willing to work overtime and long hours and be willing to travel nationally (management positions do not qualify for overtime pay)

Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record

Code 08 Drivers license and own reliable transport

Experience of implementing Quality Management Standards

The ability to manage and deliver projects, draft and implement policies and influence senior stakeholders

Analytical and quality focused - able to produce accurate management information

Excellent presentation and IT skills are required

Target and KPI focused yet able to deliver whilst maintaining employee engagement

Needed and not negotiable:

PSIRA Grade B accreditation

Grade 12 or equivalent

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position of management and accountability

Above average reports and risk assessment projections

Sound knowledge of MS Suite

Proven record of extremely strong technical security and IT knowledge. Integrating and implementing all and every form of high tech security technologies

English and any other South African language

Proven ability to work under immense and high risk pressure

Whilst not a manned security manager, must hail from a Private Security Services background

Package: Negotiable and market related plus benefits per month depending on experience and qualifications.
