POSITION INFO:
A leading global mining and natural resources company is seeking an experienced Systems Specialist to permanently join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA(SA) professional with expertise in financial systems to contribute to enhancing financial reporting and system optimization.

Duties:

• Support and optimize financial systems, particularly TM1 and Power BI, to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide system-based solutions.
• Ensure the seamless integration of financial systems across departments and align with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize disruptions in financial reporting and analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize financial models and reports in TM1 and Power BI.
• Implement process improvements and automation in financial reporting to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Provide training and support to teams on system usage and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure system functionality and integration.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal policies in system usage and data management.

• CA(SA) qualification is required.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in financial systems management with a focus on reporting and systems optimization.
• At least 5 years of experience working with TM1 (Cognos) and Power BI.
