A leading mining company is now seeking a Systems Specialist!

We are representing a distinguished multinational client in the mining industry, a publicly listed company with a global footprint. Known for their innovative approach and sustainable practices, they are committed to enhancing operational efficiency and delivering value to their stakeholders. As part of their continued growth and expansion, they are seeking a highly skilled Systems Specialist to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg North.

Duties:

Leading the design, development, and implementation of financial reporting systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational objectives and financial requirements.
Managing and optimizing TM1 systems, improving functionality and ensuring that all financial data is processed in line with best practices.
Supporting the integration and development of Power BI dashboards and reports for data visualisation and strategic decision-making.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and training for finance, operational, and IT staff.
Analysing complex financial and operational data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of reports.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

A qualified Chartered Accountant CA (SA).

Experience:

At least 5 to 7 years of post-article experience, ideally gained outside of audit, with proven expertise in financial systems management.
A strong track record of working with TM1 for at least 5 years, with deep technical knowledge of system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
