Our client, a leading provider of integrated IT systems and business solutions is recruiting for a skilled Systems / Networks Administrator (Ops Specialist).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field
• Certifications such as A+ & N+, MTCNA, ICND1, UBWA, Linux+/LPIC1, Server+, MCSA: Windows Server 2016—or their closest equivalents

• Extensive experience in technical management, preferably within a related industry
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, as well as innovation and integration of information systems
• Proven ability to lead IT support teams
• Proficient in database queries and design principles
• Skilled in collaborating with data architects and IT specialists to set up, maintain, and monitor data networks
• Expertise in database structure languages, such as SQL or SQL/PSM
• Experience with server installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of best practices in database management
• Comprehensive understanding of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with ITIL and AGILE methodologies is a plus
• Capable of diagnosing faults, incidents, and problems, and implementing necessary changes
• Responsible for ensuring optimal hardware and software performance and maintaining network security

• Expert in administering Debian-based (Ubuntu) and RedHat-based (Alma, Rocky) distributions.
• Skilled in provisioning/configuring servers, clusters, and devices via CLI.
• Installing and configuring Line-of-Business (LOB) apps using YAML/JSON.
• Monitoring/troubleshooting system performance and logs.
• Participating in troubleshooting interviews/tests based on log analysis.

• Managing Windows servers (AD/LDAP, DHCP, DNS, NPS, IIS, Hyper-V).
• Familiar with IIS modules (Dot Net, ASP, WebSockets).
• Providing desktop support and managing file servers.
• Responsible for server maintenance and administration.

• Experience with Core/Distribution/Access-switching (Edgecore, MikroTik, UniFi, D-Link).
• Managing VLANs, tunneling (ZeroTier, WireGuard), iptables/nftables, firewalld, and bonding.
• Configuring/troubleshooting FortiGate, MikroTik, pfSense.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Data Dog, New Relic).
• IPAM/DCIM expertise.

• Basic support for Postgres, Oracle, MariaDB (backups, restores, minor SQL queries).
• OracleDB knowledge (Oracle Data Pump, TNS Listener troubleshooting).
• Collaborating with DBAs for performance and availability.

• Managing SAN, NAS, DAS, LVM, LUN infrastructures (HPE SAN, Synology, FreeNAS).
• Expertise in HBA bonding, SCSI, storage optimization.
• Server assembly/upgrades, RAID, and HA configurations.
• Familiar with Veeam Backup, Quest NetVault, LTO-tape technology.

• Administering Xen-based clusters (XCP/Xen) and Hyper-V.
• Managing virtual environments, performance, failover, storage integration.
• Experience with Hyper-V clusters, VMware vSphere, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Implementing ITIL best practices (ITSM) and IT asset management (ITAM).
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, supplier negotiation, and warranties.
• Collaborating with Finance and Audit teams.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
