Job Purpose:

An Enterprise Technical result-driven Engineer (Cloud, Virtualisation, Storage and Server) offering more than 10 years of extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure projects, system administration, systems architecture, hardware installation, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, training, and strategic support

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

High Level and Low-Level Design of PRD and DR hardware refresh (Server and Storage Converged Solution).120 Physical host deployments running VMware ESXi 7 and 8
Design and deploy VMware vSphere infrastructure
HPE Synergy deployment and management
Preferred: Business Continuity Solutions deployments – DR Implementations, Test and Failover using VMware and VEEAM Backup and Replication
Document best practices and architectural references for developing and deploying VMware solutions (including associated management tools, e.g. monitoring, provisioning, security and compliance, and DR)
Support critical customer escalations
Determine gaps in existing infrastructure and ways to mitigate these gaps
VMware Best Practise updates and upgrades
Firmware upgrades and HDD upgrades
Maintain technical documentation of the VMware, Hyper-V, and Storage environments
VMware – AWS integrations
Veeam Backup and Replication deployment
DELL Hardware maintenance and manage
VMware esxi and vCenter upgrades
