Our client, a leader in renewable energy manufacturing, based in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Material Planning Manager to join their team. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee supply chain processes, focusing on inventory management, BOM, and demand planning to ensure smooth production and operational flow.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative environment to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other relevant tools to streamline inventory and demand planning.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimise material availability and minimize production downtime.
• Implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

• Education: A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-10 years of relevant supply chain experience, with 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Inventory Management, BOM (Bill of Materials), and Demand Planning.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
