Supplier Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive company based in Rosslyn 

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and maintain supplier quality standards and requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, including defect rates and delivery performance.
• Lead initiatives to improve supplier quality and reduce production defects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and ensure supplier readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to supplier quality.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years experience fulfilling a similar role within the automotive industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Quality or related field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO/TS 16949).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in quality tools and software (e.g., statistical analysis, FMEA, PPAP).
