POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineer Diploma or Degree with 5 years' experience in a similar environment (Marine).
• Ensures that the workshop machines are clean and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions with records of inspections and work performed.
• Maintains controls of all special and hand tooling, slings, lifting and safety equipment to ensure that they are in good order.
• Ensures the cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop and on job sites.
• Preparation of work time estimations (input schedule).
• Organization of the working packages to be done related to engine commissioning.
• Ensures SHEQ compliance.
• Ensures that the equipment works to its specification.
• Witnesses test results.
• Supervision of engineering and technical staff.
• Trouble shooting.
• Engine overhauling on two stroke, medium & high speed engines.
