Structural Steel Rigging Manager

POSITION INFO:

This role would entail overseeing the rigging operations for structural steel projects.  This involves planning and coordinating rigging activities, ensuring safety and compliance, and managing multiple rigging teams to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

Duties include:

• Rigging operations - plan and coordinate rigging activities.  Ensure all rigging operations comply with project specifications and safety standards.  Oversee the setup, operation and maintenance of rigging equipment.
• Quality control - Ensure all rigging work meets quality standards and project requirements.  Conduct inspections and audits of rigging processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in structural steel rigging or a similar industry
• Proficiency in safety compliance
• Knowledge of rigging techniques, tools and equipment
• Ability to work in a construction environment, including working at heights and lifting heavy materials
• Drivers licence
