Structural Engineer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Produce reinforced concrete and structural steel designs according to client needs
Perform on-site inspections to assess project conditions and requirements
Establish effective communication channels with clients and contractors, facilitating collaboration on various projects
Ensure strict adherence to relevant codes and standards
Scrutinize and analyze drawings to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements
Generate designs for reinforced concrete and structural steel tailored to meet client specifications
Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate project conditions and determine requirements
Establish effective communication channels with clients and contractors, fostering collaboration on diverse projects
Ensure rigorous adherence to pertinent codes and standards throughout the design process
Scrutinize and analyze drawings to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience on Tekla, Prokon and AutoCad (non-negotiable)
Must have commercial, residential and industrial structure experience
Must understand Afrikaans

Qualification:
B.Eng in Civil Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering
