SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting for our client, a reputable organization in the public sector, seeking a highly skilled Strategy Planning, Strategic Support & M&E Specialist on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance management, strategic planning, monitoring & evaluation, and governance compliance.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- B-Degree in Business Administration (NQF Level 7) or equivalent qualification
- 3 – 7 years in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) within government, development, or creative industries.
Skills & Knowledge:- Strong communication & report writing skills
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Financial reporting experience
- Strategic planning & performance management expertise
Abilities:- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Strong decision-making & analytical thinking
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Creativity & initiative in problem-solving
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research into best practices and policy development.
- Manage performance reporting, M&E, and draft annual reports.
- Support the finalization of the Strategic Plan & Annual Performance Plan (APP).
- Provide direction on performance management and compliance.
- Monitor and report on program performance against set indicators.
- Ensure governance and risk management best practices.
- Consolidate and submit reports to oversight bodies.
- Implement standardized management reporting frameworks.
