Job Title: Stores Manager

Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a Store Manager. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Matric and relevant qualifications
• Must reside in Pietermaritzburg
• 5 years experience in Production Stores Management
• Appropriate knowledge/competence in the use of Production Management techniques
• Knowledge of Disciplinary code, procedures and understanding of the South African Labour Law
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing of sheet metal components

Responsibilities:

• Stores production output
• Regulate Inventory on a regular basis
• Work instructions/methods
• Continuous improvement of area
• Human Resources, management and development of employees
• Section process related to Safety, Health , Environmental and Housekeeping
• Area Production Maintenance plans and activities
• ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards
• Liase with Buyer’s to ensure stock levels are maintained
• Report incidents/accidents/non-conformances
• Assist in other areas as required
