Stock Controller

SUMMARY:
To organise & implement the stock control function in various departments dealing with stock items incl. cleaning materials, consumables, kiosk purchases, medical supplies, geysers, facility tools and computer equipment.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing indent stock control areas with authorised personnel. Contact ongoing audits in stockrooms & report on stock levels & variances. Generate orders with the respective managers to replenish stock levels. Where necessary, receive stock orders from suppliers & check against invoices & orders.

Key result areas:

• Ensure a well organised stock control system
• Manage stock control in various storerooms & purchasing functions
• Report on stock shrinkage & stock levels on a regular basis
• Control access to stockroom and ensure stock movement is recorded properly
• Conduct audits on stocks on a regular basis

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Computer literacy (MS Word & Excel)
• Certificate in stock management or warehouse management or Accounting
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience
• Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
