MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The role of the Specialist: Solutions Design Specialist is to strategically advise the business on the Organisation's Learning Strategy, ensuring that organisational talent is optimised through development. Furthermore, the Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing high quality and effective learning solutions, using a variety of media.

Preferred Minimum Education and Experience:

1. A graduate qualification in Human Resources with specialization in Learning and Development or Training
2. Experience with Bankseta and a good understanding of the Bankseta processes.
3. 8 years’ experience in People & Culture Learning and Development Environment - Relevant experience in the Learning and Development consulting

6. Relevant understanding of the legislative framework for People & Culture and Skills Development
7. Knowledge of SAP and HRIS, specifically in Learning and Development
8. Experience in design and development of training curricula and training programmes
9. Experience in design and development of a Learning Management System
10. Experience with online course management tools, graphic and multimedia authoring software and website design software
11. Consulting strategic advice experience
12. Project Management experience
13. Banking and/or financial sectors.
14. Planning, including career and organisational development
15. Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting Land Bank
16. Experience in workplace assessment: Registration as an assessor with HPCSA preferable.
17. Knowledge of the relevant legislative framework; i.e. EEA, SDA SDLA and other relevant legislation etc.

Additional Requirements:

1. The incumbent should demonstrate the following competencies:
   1. Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
   2. Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
   3. Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
