Solutions Engineer with Java Background

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of a Solution Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our business applications, APIs, data workflows, and automation processes, ensuring seamless operations within the Compliance team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business applications and APIs to drive business solutions
• Design and implement data and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for effective data integration and processing
• Develop automation processes to streamline operations and improve system efficiency
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance Solution team to maintain and expand solution capabilities
• Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, enhancing system reliability and performance
• Drive continuous delivery and release automation processes to improve system deployment and updates
• Analyze application demands to ensure correct sizing and scaling of infrastructure
• Stay updated with market-leading Mobile Money technologies, suppliers, and innovations

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of technical experience in a similar role
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar position
• Strong proficiency in backend development languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
• Experience with server-side frameworks like Spring Boot, etc.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them
• Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools
• Proficiency in Java or Golang programming language
• Experience writing and maintaining Bash scripts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
