Duties:

• Strategic Management: Develop and implement solutions that align with the company’s technology vision and business objectives.
• Solution Design: Design scalable, reliable, and secure technology solutions to meet business requirements.
• Standards and Policies: Establish and maintain best practices for solution development and deployment.
• Contingency Planning: Ensure solutions are resilient with appropriate contingency plans.
• Support and Delivery: Ensure solutions support required products, services, and delivery mechanisms.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Customer Centricity: Treat customers fairly and effectively address their needs.
• Effective Self-Management and Teamwork: Maintain professionalism, meet deadlines, and contribute to team objectives.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years in IT solution design roles.
• At least 3 years in a solutions architecture capacity.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably in the insurance/fintech industry.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, microservices architecture, and IT security principles.
• Experience in enterprise-wide and insurance domain-specific system development and integration.
• Expertise in creating architectural diagrams and process flows.
• Familiarity with evolving development standards and frameworks.
