SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy company, that is seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative solar projects, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine system specifications.
Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope) to create system layouts and electrical schematics.
Perform shading analysis and energy yield calculations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in solar energy design.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in solar PV design engineering.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Proficiency in solar design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, energy modeling, and grid integration.
Understanding of relevant industry codes and standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
