Software Sales Consultant

SUMMARY:
The Software Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving software sales by identifying client needs, providing tailored solutions, and managing the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consultative sales, strong technical acumen, and excellent client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development:
  
  • Identify and engage potential clients through prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling.
  • Present software solutions to clients through demos and presentations tailored to their business needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to deal closure.
• Client Relationship Management:
  
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on how the software can solve specific challenges.
• Technical Proficiency:
  
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s software solutions, including features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation post-sale.
• Sales Reporting and Strategy:
  
  • Meet and exceed sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Accurately update CRM systems with client interactions, pipeline progress, and sales forecasts.
  • Provide feedback to the product team to improve offerings based on client needs and market trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software sales or technology solutions sales.
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
