A client of ours within the retail software sector is looking for a dynamic and results-driven software Business Development representative to join our team.
As a software Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years experience in sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer Literate
• Reside in or around the Pretoria / Jhb area
• Own Transport and a valid driver’s license
• Well-groomed and energetic
• Available to start as soon as possible

• Prospecting and Lead Generation
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and outreach
• Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline
• Sales Presentations and Demonstrations
• Present, promote, and sell products/services to clients using effective sales techniques
• Conduct product/service demonstrations to showcase key features and benefits
• Sales Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets
• Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and optimize overall sales performance
• Market Research
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
• Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities

• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role
• Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
• Qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
